Sotheby’s Institute of Art and LARRY’S LIST announce a partnership for art market education, featuring online courses, an exclusive Hong Kong in-person course, and study tours within the Asia region.

Sotheby’s Institute of Art, a renowned institution for art education, and LARRY’S LIST, the leading art collector knowledge company, are pleased to announce their new partnership aimed at enhancing art market education with a focus on Asia from February 2024.

This collaboration will offer a range of live online courses, a Hong Kong-exclusive in-person course on contemporary art collections and study tours within Asia.

The result is a comprehensive and immersive learning experience that will empower art enthusiasts, collectors and professionals to navigate the dynamic art market in Asia and globally. 

Offerings include: 

  • Online professional classes on art business and art marketing commencing February 19 and April 10, 2024, respectively 
  • In-person professional course on Collecting Art Today to be held in March 2024 during Hong Kong Art Week
  • Study tour Busan / Seoul experience in May 2024 

All courses, conceived by industry experts and seasoned professionals, will provide invaluable insights into Asia’s art scene, emerging trends and market dynamics. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the art market, enabling them to make informed decisions and seize opportunities in this rapidly evolving landscape.
