Having completed a BA in Art History at the University of Texas in Austin and a MA in Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, American-born Lacey West then spent five years managing commercial galleries in London, including a small Contemporary gallery in Notting Hill as well as a large Modern Art gallery in Mayfair. In 2010, she set up Lacey West Art International (LWAI) to offer a professional recruitment service to employees and employers in the global art community. For over a decade, Lacey and the LWAI team have placed hundreds of carefully selected, skilled candidates from art backgrounds with clients ranging from emerging to well established galleries, major auction houses, well known artists, private collections and everything in between. Thanks to LWAI’s large and growing pool of well-qualified international candidates, and Lacey’s extensive professional network, she has developed an extremely personalized approach to art recruitment.
