New York City is one the most diverse cities in the world with artists, residents, business people, and students from a myriad of countries and cultures. It is very welcoming and very inclusive as a global hub for art, culture, and commerce. Additionally, SIA NY has a diverse faculty, staff, and student body with more than 20 countries represented in the average year. At SIA NY, we not allow any racial-based hatred behaviors in our courses, in-person or online. All students should practice basic precautions, such as avoiding walking alone at night, being vigilant of solicitors, etc., when living in any location.
