Sotheby’s Institute of Art-NY holds permanent degree-granting authority from the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
In London, degrees are awarded by The University of Manchester.
In 2016 Sotheby’s Institute of Art – London underwent a review by the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and has received its final report, which is available in full here.
The QAA review team recognised a significant number of areas of good practice at the Institute including:
- The effective management of the admissions process which impacts on student satisfaction and achievement
- The distinctive and shared staff and student research environment which contributes to student learning opportunities
- The range and quality of support that enables students to fully engage with their studies
- The proactive and comprehensive approach to career development that contributes to student employability.
