Stamatina Gregory is a New York-based curator and art historian, whose work focuses primarily on the interrelationship of contemporary art and politics. She is the co-curator of Bring Your Own Body: transgender between archives and aesthetics, which opened at the Cooper Union in 2015 and traveled. Other recent projects include a posthumous retrospective of the photographer Brian Weil for the ICA in Philadelphia and the Santa Monica Museum of Art and an exhibition of the work of Tavares Strachan for the inaugural pavilion of The Bahamas at the 55th Venice Biennale. She has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, The New School, and Purchase College. From 2013-2017, she was the Associate Dean of the School of Art at the Cooper Union.
