Magnus Resch is an art market economist, serial entrepreneur, and bestselling book author. In 2016, he started the Magnus App. The app’s mission is to catalog works of art, so users simply take a photo to discover an artwork’s information including price. Prior to this, Magnus was Managing Director of Springstar, an internet incubator with 2500 employees and $2 billion in revenue. Magnus lectures on art management at Columbia University, New York; the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Croatia. He has published several books, including the bestsellers Management of Art Galleries and 100 Secrets of the Art World.
