Leili Sreberny-Mohammadi

Lecturer, MA Art Business, London

Leili Sreberny-Mohammadi is an anthropologist with an interest in the globalization of the contemporary art market, and the marketization of Iranian and Middle Eastern art in particular. She received her PhD from New York University in Sociocultural Anthropology with a Certificate in Culture and Media. With funding from the Wenner Gren Foundation, she conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Tehran, Dubai, London and New York. She is a Lecturer on the MA Art Business and has previously taught at NYU and CUNY Brooklyn and Queens Colleges.
