Arts and Culture Conversations in Downtown LA

What is the state of the arts in Los Angeles today? What are the long-term and short-term trends to watch out for? What are the biggest challenges and fault lines? Join LA arts journalists and leaders for a wide-ranging discussion of what’s next for the Arts in Los Angeles. Taking part in this conversation will be:

  • Kristin Sakoda Executive Director, LA County Arts Commission
  • Oscar Garza Senior Producer, The Frame, KPCC
  • Jori Finkel Journalist, The New York Times and The Art Newspaper

This event is part of the Sotheby’s Institute of Art’s Creative Industries Colloquium, presented in partnership with Claremont Graduate University. This conversation series brings you the voices that matter to arts and culture in LA today. For seven Thursdays, cultural luminaries and leaders will join us in downtown LA to address the challenges and opportunities facing their organizations and fields.

Join us and learn more about Sotheby’s Institute’s MA programs in Art Business and Arts Management and meet the people who are shaping LA’s cultural landscape now. Space is limited, so please RSVP.
