LONDON INSTITUTE, 30 BEDFORD SQUARE, WC1
Experience what it’s like to be a student in our MA in Art Business through an interactive session with Dr David Bellingham, Programme Director and Senior Lecturer of Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art London campus.
Join Dr Bellingham for a lecture to be delivered at the Institute, followed by a study visit to the British Museum. Get a taste of what you will learn during the MA programme and develop the ability to place art objects within both its aesthetic and commercial contexts, and to discuss the legal/ethical implications of its historical provenance and current location.
David Bellingham is an art historian and author. He has published numerous books and articles on a variety of subjects, including: art fairs, art business ethics, Greek and Celtic mythology, the art market for classical sculpture and frescoes, the paintings of Sandro Botticelli, and authenticity issues in the paintings of Frans Hals.
Information sessions have limited space so prior booking is absolutely essential. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
