Overview

From the birth of Rococo to the avant-garde experiments of the Post-Impressionists, this six session course explores the exciting history of 18th and 19th century art. These radical and revolutionary art movements changed the ways in which art is viewed and laid the foundations for today’s art world. The course is perfect for those who wish to develop their knowledge of the period and its masterpieces. Led by Consultant Lecturer, Dr James Hicks, a complimentary guided visit on a Saturday morning to Tate Britain is included in this course.
