Overview

This intensive five-day course provides a basis for the analysis and interpretation of Western Art from the Renaissance until 1900. Chronologically organised, and highlighting key works, painters and movements, lectures will be complemented by special visits to London galleries and museums. The course provides a foundation in the history and developments of art and is designed as a refresher for art professionals and those who are interested in art interpretation.
