This unique course offers those with an existing understanding of the luxury industry—such as luxury professionals—and participants of the Principles of Luxury course, an advanced exploration of the dynamic and ever-evolving luxury sector. Participants new to the world of luxury are strongly advised to participate in Principles of Luxury as a primer before embarking on Principles of Luxury: From Collectibles to Experiences.

The course kicks-off with a forward-looking session during which emerging trends and signals shaping the future of luxury are identified and explained. This is followed by an in-depth examination of key luxury industries, such as high fashion, hospitality & fine dining, jewelry & watches and beauty & wellness.

The incredible success story of auction houses attracting new luxury buyers in the past decade has reshaped the auction market significantly and the course will deep-dive into this growing trend of luxury collectibles. Examined as well is how rarity, craftsmanship, and heritage storylines drive the value creation and desirability of luxury items, ranging from timepieces to haute couture.

This live online course is delivered with live-streamed lectures featuring group discussion and QandA. All live sessions are also recorded and available in the course platform typically within 24-48 hours for participants unable to attend the posted times.
