Ben Street is a freelance art historian, writer and lecturer based in London with a wide range of art-historical interests. He has lectured for many years for the National Gallery, Tate, Dulwich Picture Gallery and many other organisations in the UK and abroad. As an author, he has contributed to monographs for the Royal Academy and the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, as well as numerous gallery publications internationally. Ben is the author of interpretative material for major exhibitions at Tate Modern, the National Gallery and the Royal Academy and a contributing writer for Art Review, Art Quarterly and Apollo magazines. He was also the presenter and co-writer of 'Duchamp's Urinal' for BBC Radio 4.
