Our series of intensive 4-week Summer Study courses held in London, New York and Singapore and 2-week Summer Study courses in New York offer interesting and compelling insights into the art world and include lectures and seminars led by Sotheby's Institute of Art Faculty, international experts and leading practitioners in the field.
Enrollment is open to college students, professionals in the field, experts-in-training and career-changers. There are no formal entry requirements for the Summer Study courses.

Academic Credits:
The granting of transfer credit from any institution is always at the discretion of the “home” school and students should request approval in advance.
It is advisable to seek approval prior to taking the course as credit acceptance is at the discretion of individual institutions.
International students: All our summer programs can be completed while visiting the U.S. on a tourist visa.

Academic Credits:
The 4-week Summer Study courses can be accredited through your university based on prior approval. For students at postgraduate level wishing to apply, tutors will allocate additional projects and grade on a higher level.
These courses offer interesting and compelling insights into the art world and include lectures and seminars led by Sotheby’s Institute of Art faculty, international experts and leading practioners in the field. Visits to major collections in London's museums, auction houses, artists' studios and royal palaces allow each participant to develop a deeper understanding of the art.
