Semester Programme: Contemporary Art




Sotheby’s Institute of Art – Singapore offers a full-time fifteen-week course in Contemporary Art. Designed for students who have a strong vocational or professional interest in a specific subject, the courses can also provides the necessary foundation for students who lack an art history background and are applying to the Postgraduate Diploma and Masters programmes at the Institute. Essentially the first semester of the full-time Masters programme, students are taught alongside our full-time Masters students and will get to visit China (Beijing and Shanghai) as part of the course.

Course Fees

SGD$ 35,000 (inclusive of GST)
The fee covers all lectures, local transport, and admission to art galleries and museums.

Other Costs:
All students are required to provide their own laptop computers for the duration of the programme. The cost of books will vary for student to student, but a budget of between SGD 750-1000 for the programme should be sufficient. Lodging and food costs will vary for individual students so please refer to the accommodation section for more details.
