So what does it take to bring a priceless work of art to auction? This course illustrates first-hand, the path artwork follows on its way from the loading dock to the auction house sales room. Students will learn about the history of the auction house, how it operates today, and what it takes to run a successful international auction. Specialists from the auction house will reveal how they acquire and evaluate property, and will take students on a behind-the-scenes tour. See for yourself how the experts do it!
