| Art Marketing: Concepts, Techniques and Trends |

This course gives students a solid overview of the principles and practice of art marketing. Grounded in the belief that a mixture of standard marketing approaches, combined with specialized strategies, important tactics (ever evolving daily in the Web 2.0 world) and organic trends, such as the proliferation of art fairs, are important to be effective in today’s ever-changing marketplace. The course also discusses the future of the field, and provide insight from current professionals working in it. This course is led by Clint White, Founder and President of the Arts and Culture Network Inc, which runs the boutique advertising and marketing agency WiT Media, serving a wide range of such organizations including well known museums, art businesses, and cultural organizations. His previous experience included 20 years in management and marketing roles at the Santa Fe Opera, Martha Graham Dance Company, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, among others.
