Overview

Sotheby’s Institute of Art – NY offers an MA in Art Business in an articulated program with Tsinghua University in Beijing. Tsinghua is, one of China’s pre-eminent institutions of higher learning and ranks among the most distinguished universities in Asia. The curriculum is offered in an executive education format consisting of seven intensely-taught modules of approximately 6 – 10 days each, beginning in China and then, over a period of approximately two years,  traveling to major western capitals of art and commerce. The program concludes with the submission and successful review of a master’s thesis. Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese is required for admission as is advanced reading competency in English.
