| MA in Fine & Decorative Art Painting Class |
One of the aims of the MA in Fine & Decorative Art programme is to teach students how to look at works of art, and how to understand what their eyes are seeing. There is no better way of doing this than trying out the techniques of old master paintings.
Here students are having a go at painting in tempera, as in the early renaissance, following the methods described by Cennino in his 14th century treatise, Il libro dell arte.
