This intensive six-day course addresses key issues of business practice within the art world, such as strategy, marketing, financial management and operations, as well as governance and leadership. Aligned with the Institute’s ‘hands-on’ approach, participants gain the latest thinking in business management via lectures, case studies and practical sessions. Invited speakers include both academic faculty and renowned business leaders in the field. The course is designed for those who want to enhance their competitive edge in today’s art market.

Practical Guide to Starting an Art Gallery

This five-day course provides practical training in starting an art gallery today. The intensive course addresses the art market dynamics, the technicalities of establishing a business, such as legal, financial and operational aspects, and key issues in growing a business.
