This course will focus on the key movements in Modern art: Cubism, Futurism, German Expressionism, Suprematism, Russian Constructivism and Surrealism. Participants will gain an understanding of the art and artists, such as Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch and Salvador Dalí, and learn how to interpret their work in the context of the social and political climate in the early 20th century.
