| Evening Course: Buying Opportunities in a Bear Market |

Six-week series on Tuesday evenings Wine reception at 6.30 pm Lecture at 7.00 pm - 8.15 pm February: 3, 10, 17 (term break on February 24th)
The present economic environment encourages careful analysis of the art market to understand the unique buying opportunities that occur when the markets are down. This course will consider the historical performance of several art categories and identify how and what art retains value through highs and lows. In addition, participants will gain insight into methods of accessing art that has rarely been seen on the market due to forced sales – a feature typical of depressed markets. Fee: £375 To book a place, call Gillian McIlwaine on +44 (0)20 7462 2490 or download our booking form, indicating which course you would like to take and email back to us at shortcourses@sothebysinstitute.com Download our Short Courses brochure and booking form. |
