Evening Course: Art Law

Six-week evening course on the following Tuesday evenings:
26 January / 2, 9, 23 February/ 2, 9 March 2010

Wine reception at 6.30pm; Lectures 7.00-8.30pm

This course promotes an understanding of the legal framework operating in the art world today.

In addition to examining the often complex issues pertaining to the sale and purchase of artworks, such as provenance and authenticity, the course also looks at other important areas relating to the practice of art law, including the rights of the artist, the recovery of stolen or looted artworks and the subject of fakes and forgeries.

The course is led by Anna O’Connell of Klein Solicitors.
