The rapidly growing, ever-changing global art market has simultaneously expanded and complicated career options for everyone, as long established roles in the field have both evolved and blurred. This course identifies and demystifies the various paths available including gallerist, art advisor, curator, auction house professional, art appraiser, and others. Students gain an understanding of the opportunities and challenges of working in the art world through lectures and personal insights from distinguished guest speakers. Suitable for anyone considering a career, or seeking a career change in the art world.

Faculty
This course is led by Sara Kay, principal and founder of SK Fine Art LLC, a private dealer specializing in Impressionist and 20th century European and American art. Kay previously served as the United States Fine Art Representative of the Jan Krugier Gallery and Specialist of the Old Masters & 19th Century Drawings Department at Christie's. She is the founder and president of the Professional Organization of Women in the Arts – POWArts.
