Experience Contemporary Art in New York

Join us for a journey through New York’s fascinating art scene. During this eight week series we'll explore the best current exhibitions at New York's finest contemporary galleries, alternative spaces, and auction houses. Our guide, Lowell Pettit, will discuss the dynamics of the art market and the key personalities working behind the scenes, and introduce you to the world of art collecting.

Faculty

Lowell Pettit, co-director of Pettit Art Partners, is a New York based art consultant and educator. Pettit brings over 15 years of gallery, museum, education and art advisory experience to his classes, and to private and corporate collectors of Modern and Contemporary Art. He has lectured for various institutions including: the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, Sculpture Center, New York University, Christie's Education, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art since 2001.
